During our stay at Naturfreundehaus Bodensee, we experienced a mix of luxury and value that left us contemplating the financial side of our choice. The location along the beautiful lake was undoubtedly a highlight for us Bavarian nature enthusiasts. The spacious and comfortable room provided a relaxing retreat, although the fog obscured the stunning views in the morning. The breakfast spread was ample with a good selection, enjoyed amidst the greenery and close to nature.While the restaurant and kitchen service were satisfactory, we couldn't help feeling that the offer lacked a bit of Bavarian flair. The green beach and water sports opportunities added a fun touch to our stay, especially for families with children.Although the hotel lacks some luxury amenities like a Bar/Lounge area or VIP check-in/out, the value proposition is clear with the beach access and beautiful garden area. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the off-site car park was convenient. If you're seeking a true Bavarian experience and value nature over luxury, Naturfreundehaus Bodensee is worth considering for your stay.
